Hey Hey!

Just wanted to pop in real quick to wish you all a fantastic Thanksgiving!

Enjoy the time with your loved ones!

Thank you for all the well wishes and congratulations in regards to the marathon.  It was an absolutely amazing experience.  I’m hoping to get the recap up with in the next few days.

As of right now the recap is almost a full 6 pages, longer than my yearly job review.  So I’m either going to cut it down, break it into two separate posts or write a book.

I won’t bore you with all that I’m thankful for, but will tell you that you, my faithful readers are on the list!  Thank you for repeatedly taking time out of your day to read my posts, comment and write emails.  I truly appreciate it!

Have a fabulous holiday!

Happy May Day!

Sadly the US is one of only a few countries that does not celebrate May Day, 174 out of 196 countries celebrate May Day!

I had my condo inspection this past weekend, it went really well!  At least I think it did, there were no huge issues and the small issues that we did find the seller is going to fix.  I basically spend two hours smiling and nodding as the inspector told me what he was doing.

Luckily my dad was there and asked all sorts of questions.  He seemed pleased with the results so as of right now it appears to be a go!

To celebrate I went to Home Depot on Sunday and got some paint samples.

I can’t believe how quickly it’s all happening, it still doesn’t seem real yet.  I don’t close for a month and a half so there’s plenty of time for this to all fall apart.  I’ve been able to refrain from picking out furniture and wasting hours on Pinterest looking for decorating ideas.

I’m not sure how much longer I can hold off though, planning is one of my favorite things to do.  I started writing is list of things I would need if I got my own apartment, but I’ve since lost that list and haven’t created a new one.

This whole entire process has been very uncharacteristic of me, the stress has been kept to a minimal (I usually create the stress), I didn’t pour over all the possible outcomes before I submitted an offer (I often overanalyze everything), and while I’ve priced some things for the minor updates I want to make I haven’t done much research (I love shopping!).

Luckily I have a bunch going on this month to distract me, but I’m afraid the opposite will happen and the condo will distract me from everything else I have to do.    So far I’ve been able to keep myself in line.

Maybe it’s a good thing I don’t have a holiday today!
